This deceptively tall three tier wedding cake proved the perfect centerpiece at Andrew and Vicki's wedding. It perfectly fused classic and modern styles, from it's classic white shimmer and royal blue colour scheme, to the contemporary trend of edible lace. Have a look at the detail below.
The top tier featured an edible bride and groom, wearing clothes that matched what they wore on the day itself. They stood on an 8 inch tier featuring brush embroidery detail in royal blue - a very popular trend at the moment.
The second tier, a 10 inch round chocolate and sea salted caramel cake, featured handmade indented royal blue pearls. The bottom tier - a gigantic 12 inch vanilla cake - was decorated with royal blue edible lace. Finally, we finished the cake with handmade sugar peonies and white shimmer pearls at the bottom of each tier.
The happy couple absolutely loved the cake - so much so that they saved the lemon cake just for themselves!
We only used the finest ingredients when making this cake - covered in ganache (using real Belgian chocolate) and Swiss Massa Ticino Tropic sugar paste, which is considered to be the best in the business.
