We only use the finest ingredients. Our flour is North Leverton Windmill flour, free-range eggs and Swiss Massa Ticino Tropic sugar paste – considered to be the best in the business. Our buttercream is made with real, good quality, butter. Where we use ganache, we use the finest Belgian chocolate.

Our fruitcakes are packed with good wholesome fruit. Whilst we can do a non-alcoholic version, we prefer our version with alcohol in. We don’t skimp on the alcohol either – we use premium brandy, or even better - Scottish single malt whiskey to compliment the mellow flavours of the citrus fruit.

As standard our sponge cakes are vanilla flavoured. This doesn't mean you can't have something more exciting though! We've got an ever-expanding list of flavours, and we're forever creating new and interesting flavours for customers. Here are two of our favourites..

When researching a chocolate cake recipe, Joseph, one of my sons, found ways of keeping deep, intense chocolate flavours, whilst retaining the moistness that we at Dellissima Cakes pride ourselves on. Our Signature Chocolate Cake was born! Decadent, mouthwatering and deliciously moist, whether baked with gluten-free ingredients or locally milled flour, a Dellissima Cakes chocolate cake promises to deliver! Perfect when filled with our rich chocolate buttercream and jam, caramel, salted caramel or vanilla buttercream.

Naturally, lemons feature in many of our cakes and bakes, but it is here in our lemon sponge cake that the real taste of fresh Mediterranean lemons brings the tastebuds to life. Grated lemon zest and freshly squeezed lemon juice are perfect companions with free range eggs and locally milled flour, giving you a fresh, lemon sponge cake. You can even see the zest in the sponge! Each Dellissima Cakes lemon cake is filled with lemon buttercream, that has yet more grated lemon zest and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Finally, a smooth layer of silky lemon curd is added and there you have it, a taste of Sicily.
