This elegant six tier white and gold wedding cake is one of our favourites!
The main themes of this wedding cake are sequins, pearls, lace and flowers. As you can see in the picture below, we mainly used hydrangeas and peonies. The top tier was dripping with gold shimmer sequins. The second tier features a very delicate edible lace, again in gold shimmer.
The base of each tier features intricate white pearls - something that was very important to Tonia, the bride. The central tier features an elegant monogram heart, encased in gold pearls, with their initials in script - a very popular trend! Below is a tier covered in gold royal icing swirls and hearts to coordinate with the pattern on the bride's wedding dress.
Look closely and you can see edible gold filigree butterflies placed around the cake! The final two tiers were covered in gold shimmer sequins, and finally with a plethora of flowers - peonies, hydrangeas and lots of different roses.
We only used the finest ingredients when making this cake - covered in ganache (using real Belgian chocolate) and Swiss Massa Ticino Tropic sugar paste, which is considered to be the best in the business.
