With over 30 years experience she's the reason your cakes taste so good! Don't take our word for it - check out the Gold Award she achieved at Cake International.

A psychiatric nurse by trade, she makes sure that every single cake gets the care and attention it deserves.  

Maria’s creative hand goes into every cake we make, and she’s recently honed her sugarcraft skills even further by training with cake celebrities Paul Bradford and Silvia Mancini. 

In addition to her Gold Award, she's featured in the Retford Times and won the Bassetlaw Achievers Award in 2015.

Christian

Head of Marketing and Brand

He's the man responsible for making sure that our website and social media look as good as our cakes taste!

With a background in advertising, and several years experience at the Financial Times, he's always coming up with innovative ideas for publicity and imaginative cake designs.

Be warned though - despite the supply of free cake he's also one of our toughest critics! 

Rachel

Modelling Superstar

Rachel found a hidden talent for figure modelling with sugarpaste, and hasn't looked back since. Whether it's Peppa Pig or Oompa Loompas, she's got it covered. 

When not creating Mickey Mouse out of sugarpaste, Rach, or Tawny Owl as she's known at Brownies, can be found on our market stalls helping children to decorate their own cupcakes. 

Charlotte

Queen of Chocolate Brownies

There's a reason our brownies are marked up as Charlotte's Chocolate Brownies. Tasting is believing.  Despite her financial background, Charlotte is a creative genius – and fantastic at coming up with new products. Everyone looks forward to family events just so we can taste her newest creations!

Recipe Developer

Originally trained as a mechanic, Joseph, or Jazz as we call him, now puts his skills to use testing out new recipes in our kitchen. He’s the man responsible for our Signature Chocolate Cake – our bestselling cake!
